A courageous and emotional AJ Odudu finally had some good news for fans on Tuesday as she gave an update on the injury that firstly forced her out of the Strictly Come Dancing final and then the live tour.
A firm favourite with viewers from day one, TV host AJ was second favourite with bookies going into the finale last month, but her and pro partner Kai Widdrington's preparations were thrown into disarray when she sustained a serious ligament injury in rehearsals, leaving her in a moon boot and on crutches.
Despite AJ's hopes that she'd still be able to compete in the Strictly final and her receiving round the clock medical care, she and Kai eventually had to make the heart wrenching call to pull out.

And then, the pair were a dealt another blow when, after initially being confirmed for the live tour, AJ was also forced out of that.
Fans who'd hoped to see her and Kai finally perform their Show Dance were as upset as AJ herself that she had to quit, with Kai now dancing with Maisie Smith for the shows which get going in Birmingham this week.
But, after jetting off to Vietnam to film another show, AJ had some good news for her many Instagram followers.
She shared a series of clips on her Insta story, the first of which saw her walking around the room shouting: "Hello! She's walking around here!"
She captioned the video: "Look. Progress!" before telling fans: "I'm so excited because I'm down to an ankle brace! The progress!
"This ankle, it's coming back to me!"
AJ continued "Obviously, it's not fixed entirely, but I can start to feel the progress, so I'm feeling really happy about it that.
"Like literally, the ability to stand for five seconds on one foot in a trainer is amazing as I've not been able to do that in so long."
She then added: "I'm glad I've got sunglasses on as I'm actually getting quite emotional. But wow!
"Who knew that, yeah, that could be so exciting? But it is.
"There's the update. I'm in a brace...moon boot be gone!"
