Strictly Come Dancing champion Giovanni Pernice had his eye on one famous woman in particular at The BRIT Awards.
The Italian dancer - who split from Maura Higgins, 31, last year - reportedly tried to woo actress and comedian Emily Atack, 32, at a wild afterparty on Tuesday night.
According to onlookers at London nightclub The Box, Giovanni, 31, "made a beeline" towards The Inbetweeners actress and was "very persistent" in his attempts to charm her.
In a snap obtained by the MailOnline, the two stars can be seen together in the smoking area of the star-studded bash.
"He held her hands and waist and during one intimate moment caressed her face, before the pair left the club to have a cigarette together," a fellow club-goer told the publication.
"Protective Giovanni helped Emily to keep her balance in her long dress and heels as she walked towards the curtained exit."
They added: "After rejoining the party, Emily looked happy to be close to Giovanni but was also conscious not to overdo it in front of his Strictly co-stars."
Giovanni has had a string of relationships with famous women over the years, including Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, 40, and Love Island's Maura, while Emily is believed to be single, after previously being linked to Manchester City ace Jack Grealish.
The Mirror has reached out to Emily and Giovanni's representatives for comment.
Comedian Emily looked stunning at The BRIT Awards on Tuesday night, piling into a taxi with Strictly Come Dancing hunk Graziano Di Prima and Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope at one point.
The television personality looked in good spirits as she enjoyed a giggle with her fellow celebrities in the back of a cab.
Posing in a stunning full-length gown before the star-studded event, the star revealed her intentions for a boozy night earlier in the evening: "The great BRIT-ish bar crawl right, Where’s @liamgallagher !? #BRITS."
The 32-year-old TV actress had planned to wear a different dress – complete with intricate floral details and a dramatic fishtail finish – but the potential outfit wasn't quite the right fit
"Had a fitting for the Brits and sadly can’t wear this because of my chunky bum but wanted to show it off," Emily captioned the snap of the dress that wasn't meant to be.
Emily opted for another Stella McCartney dress for Tuesday night's BRIT Awards - a similarly styled floor length dress with a midnight bluehue.
Walking up late Wednesday morning, the star hinted she had enjoyed plenty of drinks at the star-studded event in London.
Captioning a snap of herself looking stunning on the red carpet the night before, she told her followers on Instagram : "So hungover. Todays wordle can f**k right off."
