Strictly Come Dancing fans claimed Hamza Yassin had been "sabotaged" with his rumba to Jurassic Park.
The Countryfile and Animal Park cameraman took on the tricky rumba for the BBC One Latin and ballroom show's movie week. He danced in full ranger uniform to the theme tune of Jurassic Park.
Hamza and his professional dance partner Jowita Przystał scored a total of 25 points out of 40 for their rumba. However, some fans lamented over the song choice - and the dance they were given to do. Some went as far to call it "sabotage" whilst others begged bosses to give him a "fighting chance" with the song choice.
"Pure sabotage. A freaking Rhumba to Jurassic Park on week 3. I’m unnecessarily angry. Poor Hamza. @bbcstrictly #Strictly," one fan wrote, as another added: "Why was Hamza stitched up with a rumba in week 3 to a bizarre song choice? Do they hate him?"
A third shared: "Really @bbcstrictly #Strictly, a Rumba to the theme of Jurassic Park? And the costume?! Give Hamza a fighting chance, please… we need him in for a long time!" as a fourth penned: " #Strictly blimey...they stitched #Hamza up this week. I will give him all three votes to make up for that requirement to rumba to Jurassic bloody Park."
"My man Hamza is doing very well but who was on drugs and what drugs were they when they said “Let’s have him Rumba to the Jurassic Park theme”, they did my man dirty with that one #Strictly," another fumed.
A sixth penned: "Well, I’m going to vote for Hamza now; he was done up like a kipper. How can you take a Rumba seriously - let alone make it “exciting” - when you have to dance it to the bloody Jurassic Park theme? Ridiculous. Pffft #Strictly," with another writing: "All my votes go to #Hamza and #Jowita tonight he was totally stitched up by that music choice! #Strictly @bbcstrictly."
"They're doing a rumba in week 3????? christ that's so mean poor hamza #Strictly," one shared, with another writing: "I thought Hamza was undermarked. Rumba is hard, rumba for a male celebs is hard, rumba to a piece of music about dinosaurs is ridiculously hard."
It comes after Hamza left Strictly fans heartbroken as he admitted he felt he was too "big" to do some of the dances.
"If I'm honest, I struggled and you can see the celebration at the end of the dance when Jowita jumped on me because all throughout rehearsals I couldn't get my timing. It’s so quick for me," he said.
"The only way I could keep up was to count, count out loud which Motsi noticed. I must admit that Jowita held me throughout the whole week and kept me going. Mentally I think it was tough for me it started off tough for me but we got there in the end."
*Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
