Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left heartbroken after Hamza Yassin performed his showdance and appeared to mess up and make mistakes.
The CBeebies TV star looked devastated during the judges feedback after his ballroom showdance with partner Jowita Przystał. Head judge Shirley Ballas picked up on his footing mistake, as did notoriously tricky judge Craig Revel Horwood.
A disheartened Hamza also appeared to be teary eyed in front of host Claudia Winkleman as he discussed his performance on the floor in his second dance of the night.
He admitted that the showdance was "nerve wracking" as he competed to be the winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2022.
Speaking backstage, a saddened Hamza still managed to thank the public from the "bottom of his heart" for their continued support. The final scores totalled 34, with Shirley and Craig only awarding 8s for the performance.
However fans rushed to share their support for the shy nature presenter.
One fan tweeted: "I really hope Hamza wins tonight, those comments from the judges after his showdance hurt my heart - I hope he comes out fighting with his last dance."
Another said: "Love Hamza and would love to see him win. Gutted his showdance didn't go to plan."
A third added: "Dang it, that showdance was rough and I feel so bad for hamza and jowita, it just didn't felt like a dance for them :( I still pray they win, for their Salsa they should have gotten a 40."
"Well done again Hamza and Jowita that was such a lovely Showdance routine from you both and I’ll give you a 9," said another.
Despite judges feedback and scores, Hamza hardcore fans were adamant the TV presenter should still win.
Irish author and radio presenter Marian Keyes tweeted: "F*****, he's still my WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A fan shared: "Don’t care about this final. Hamza will be my winner whatever. He made me cry most weeks."
Another said: "Hamza has been my winner since the beginning. To see him a little vulnerable makes him even more worthy of the glitterball."
This isn't the first time viewers have seen Hamza moved to tears on the BBC show. In a previous week, the presenter was moved to tears, as he hid his face away from the camera to hug his professional partner.
Celebrity partner Jowita praised Hamza, as she explained: "From the first moment that I met you I asked you for your trust and your energy and you gave me much more than that.
"And seeing you every day going out of your comfort zone and working so hard and giving 100% all of the time is amazing."
She added: "But what makes me the proudest teacher in the world is that you go out every night and dance from your heart, so thank you for that."
