Strictly fans fume at Craig Revel Horwood as they fear Hamza Yassin won't make the final

Strictly Come Dancing viewers are worried about Hamza Yassin’s future on the show, after his Charleston on Sunday evening.

The wildlife cameraman and his professional partner, Jowita Pryzstal, impressed fans and the judges with his light-footed performance to Paolo Nutini’s Pencil Full of Lead, but viewers thought he was robbed on the judges’ scores.

After a whirlwind of praise from all four judges, Hamza and Jowita topped the leader board with 39 marks as Craig Revel Horwood gave him a 9, while all the other judges scored a 10.

Fans were outraged that the celebrity didn’t get a perfect score, one viewer wrote on Twitter : “What does Hamza have to do for Craig to give him a ten?”

As another added: “Nah that Charleston was a 40! Come on Craig! Hamza, robbed again!”

A third said: “Hamza deserves a 40,” as a fourth agreed: “What has my boy Hamza got to do for a 40!!!!! The man’s out there making Jowita defy gravity!”

The surprising score has left fans worried about whether Hamza and Jowita will make it through to the final next week.

“If Hamza doesn’t get to the final I will riot,” one fan tweeted, as another said: “My weekly ‘Hamza is a King and must be protected at all costs’ tweet.”

“If Hamza and Helen don’t go through to the final, I’ll be so p**sed off,” a third penned.

However, some viewers thought that the couple had been overmarked for their performance and even suggested that the duo are tipped to win as they always do well on judges comments.

“Unpopular opinion… don’t get me wrong, I think Hamza is great but, I do think the judges favour him and he gets more lenient scoring than the other,” a passionate viewer said.

As another suggested: “I thought that Charleston was Hamza’s weakest dance by far. I’m sure I saw a stumble in there too.”
