Strictly dancers 'Nadiya and Katya in backstage feud after new romance on tour'

Strictly Come Dancing stars Katya Jones and Nadiya Bychkova are reportedly secretly feuding as a new romance has brewed while on tour.

It's claimed 32-year-old Katya is "struggling" as recently the attention has turned to Nadiya after she went official with boyfriend Kai Widdrington.

Professional dancer Katya is usually the talk of the show, but according to an insider, the tables have turned.

A source told The Sun: "Katya is used to being the one everyone is talking about on the show and has been struggling a bit this year.

"Nadiya has become the hot topic this tour, leaving Katya telling pals she is a bit jealous."

The insider also claims Katya has been seeing her ex-husband Neil Jones recently as she wants to "get people talking again".

She was infamously embroiled in a cheating scandal, causing her and now ex-husband and fellow professional dancer Neil Jones to split in 2018, when she was pictured kissing her then-Strictly partner Seann Walsh on a night out.

However it's said the pair are on speaking terms at the moment.

The source added: "She’s been spending lots of time with Neil recently because she knows it will get people talking again."

The last time Katya made the headlines was when she addressed claims she threatened to quit the show in a furious rant.

The Russian dancer, who been been part of the Strictly cast since 2016, was voted off the hit BBC show back in November after she and celebrity partner Adam Peaty failed to impress the judges during the dance off.

Reports emerged that Katya had thrown a "tantrum" backstage and threatened to walk out for good.

But the star later denied the claims, saying she cares 'passionately' about her job and is not going anywhere.

Following reports of the alleged outburst, she took to Instagram to say that she felt "forced into publicly defending myself".

"I am a professional dancer on a TV show doing my job which I care passionately about. I’m not quitting, I’ve not had a tantrum. I love the show and I shall keep dancing".
