When does Strictly Come Dancing turn into Dancing on Ice? When the professional dancers on the hit BBC show are given a pay freeze and threaten not to go on the annual UK tour. Some of the dancers feel they are "household names in their own right" and want to see their weekly pay boosted from £5,500 a week to £8,000. Apparently the BBC has stalled at £6,000. One source told the Sun that the dancers "work like dogs" on the Strictly tour, and yet the celebrities get paid about £13,000 a week. This one's going to twirl and twirl.
