Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones has revealed his new daughter’s name, which was inspired by his love of Latin dancing.
The professional dancer, 40, welcomed the little one with fiancée and Love Island’s Chyna Mills, 24, at the beginning of October.
At the time, they announced their daughter’s birth on Instagram with simple black and white photo of their newborn’s feet, which they captioned: “Our hearts are so full”.
Now, the pair have revealed they’ve named their baby, Havana Jones, a nod to his love of dance.
Sharing the inspiration behind Havana, Jones told Hello! Magazine: “Cuba is the home of dance and very multicultural, so it was perfect; it sums us up.”
The pair also admitted they’re “running on not much sleep” but are experiencing “pure joy”.
Meanwhile, Jones previously voiced his concerns that Mills would go into labour while he was on the show.
The choreographer – who doesn’t have a celebrity partner this year – revealed a plan was in place, in case it happened, telling OK! Magazine that he had urged Mills to “hold on as long as she can.”
He said prior the birth: “We’re not sure when it’s going to happen but if it’s during a live show, we’re prepared for that.”
Following the couple announcing Havana’s arrival, the pair were inundated with congratulatory messages from Strictly and Love Island stars.
Strictly pro Gorka Marquez commented: “Congrats guys” while fellow dancer Luba Mushtuk posted a series of hearts and show judge Motsi Mabuse penned: “Congratulations guys”.
Indiyah Polack shared: “Congrats guysss” and Dami Hope wrote: “Omgggg she’s here congrats”.
Jones and Mills went public with their relationship last August and got engaged earlier this year in Bali.
Speaking about their engagement, the BBC star told Hello! in April: “I’d already planned to ask Chyna to marry me before we knew she was pregnant.
“Then we found out and I was like, ‘Oh, this is brilliant, everything is coming together.’”
Jones was previously married to fellow Strictly pro Katya Jones, whom he still works alongside on the BBC show, for six years.
The pair parted ways in 2019, 10 months after Katya was pictured kissing her then Strictly celeb partner Seann Walsh on a night out.
