Former Strictly Come Dancing star Maisie Smith has been praised for showing off her 'thunder thighs' in a body positivity video.
The 21-year-old actress, best known for her role as Tiffany on EastEnders, took to TikTok to dance along to viral hit Victoria's Secret by Jax. In the clip she wore a silver string bikini as she danced on the edge of a pool.
She kicked the water as the lyrics "I wish somebody would've told me that thighs of thunder meant normal human thighs" played in the background. The video continued as it shared a series of snaps of Maisie in short clothing showing off her 'thunder thighs'.

Maisie captioned the post, referring to the song, as she said: "I feel like this sound was made for me." Fans were quick to compliment her.
Mimi said: "You literally made me look at my legs in a completely different way because you look SO GOOD. I love you for that."
Another user said: "You're beautiful don’t change for anyone but yourself." Meanwhile, Aliyah said: "It was actually YOU that made me realise having larger thighs is beautiful, thank you."
The actress has been open about her relationship with her body, adding that she's always "hated her legs" and has "experienced a lot of self hatred" in the past over her looks. But last year her confidence improved after appearing on the ITV dance show.
Back in 2020, she uploaded a series of images to her Instagram taken from a variety of different angles. She wrote: "The past few years I’ve been VERY insecure about my legs. I covered them up as much possible.
"No matter how many people told me “cellulite is natural.. everyone has it..” I still hated them. It’s taken me a while but I’m starting to accept these aspects of myself that I’ve always seen as 'flaws'. I wore gym shorts (out of the house) for the FIRST time a couple of months ago and I was so so proud of myself. I wish I could I say that I LOVE my body but I’m still working on that."
