The rumoured Strictly Come Dancing line-up for 2022 includes chef Gino D'Acampo, Olympian Tom Daley and comedian Dawn French.
Not long after Strictly bosses confirmed the show was making major changes, the rumoured line-up may make this series the biggest ever. The BBC ballroom competition has been under the control of covid restrictions for the last few years but the next season appears to be removing them completely and welcoming a live audience and the panels between the judges are set to be removed.
This year's lineup appears to be making the best of a fresh start as the rumoured cast includes cooking royalty, a comedy legend, an Olympic Gold medalist and a UK superstar.

Gino D'Acampo
Italian celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo has been cooking up a storm on daytime television for years with his main post being the This Morning kitchen. Gio won ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and has even admitted the BBC has reached out to him numerous times to get his dancing shoes on.
Initially turning the role down in previous years due to his schedule but he's currently taking some time off in Italy, returning sometime at the start of autumn - when Strictly is expected to start.
Dawn French
Comedy legend and actress Dawn French has been vocal about her eagerness to join the show but admitted she's nervous in case the show made her look foolish. Speaking to TellyMix, she said: "I might have been asked to do Strictly, but I fear I would be regarded as the funny one and made to do silly things. I take dancing seriously and I would like to do proper dancing.
"At this age, you’re not taken seriously. Also, if you’re from comedy, they want to shoot you out of a cannon like Ann Widdecombe and I don’t want that. I want the nicest dress, the most elegant other dancer and to take it seriously, and nobody would want that."
Tom Daley
Tom is a multi-Olympic winning medalist due to his diving prowess but how good is he on his feet? According to the Mail Online, Tom is currently in a bidding war between ITV and the BBC who both want to grab him for their celebrity competition shows.
Scarlett Moffatt
Gogglebox royalty Scarlett Moffatt has been making her way around the television circuit since finding fame on the Channel 4 show in 2013. She was previous crowned Queen of the jungle in 2016 and has since appeared on countless other programmes so it feels only right that Strictly is next on her list. She acknowledged producers' interest in her in an interview with Digital Spy, where she said: "The Strictly people think I’m this pro-dancer because I do a few dances on TikTok.
Louis Theroux
Louis joined Jonathan Ross on his self-titled show where he admitted he'd be a shoe-in for the Strictly title. The esteemed documentary maker said: "I like to think I’m a good dancer. I know I’ve had too many drinks when I’m in the kitchen dancing while listening to something on the smart speaker – often hip-hop – and I start doing the funky robot and then I start doing MC Hammer spins. And that’s where it happens and I start thinking I should really go on Strictly.”
Jake Quickenden
Rumours first surfaced of Jake's inclusion when he tweeted: "Has anyone who’s done dancing on ice ever done @bbcstrictly just wondering." The answer is no as Rachel Stevens, James Jordan, Jason Donovan, Denise Van Outen and Brendan Cole have all gone back and forth but Jake could make it a hat trick as he also has his X Factor career under his belt.
