Strictly Come Dancing Nikita's shirt goes viral after hilarious stint goes wrong

Things got heated in tonight's Strictly Come Dancing results show as professional dancer Nikita wowed the audience by ripping off his shirt mid-dance.

Sadly Tilly and Nikita had to perform their Samba routine again tonight (Sunday, November 27) as they found themselves in the bottom two, and were eventually sent home.

But it wasn't all bad as the studio audience and viewers at home were wowed by Nikita's 'toned abs' after he stripped off.

Nikita's shirt even has its own fan club after the impressive routine.

Viewers were impressed by its dancing skills after it came in handy as a prop.

@LoreleiKing joked: "After debuting on #Strictly, Nikita’s Shirt embarked on a successful dance career, performing with many well-known artists… #NikitasShirt "

"Absolutely CRYING at Nikita’s shirt becoming the main character of that dance," said @beckhallx.

But unfortunately the stint wasn't successful as Nikita's shirt got caught on his microphone.

Some viewers think it distracted the pair from the performance and contributed to them leaving the show.

"Am I alone in thinking that Tilly would have gone through if not for Nikita’s daft stunt," tweeted @AnnEBrockbank1.

"The fact that his shirt was hanging off his microphone didn’t help. Sorry, Tilly, Nikita threw you under the bus with that. You didn’t deserve to go home."

Replying to a tweet about the show, @SianSianelliott said: "I don't think Nikita throwing off his shirt helped her cause either."

It comes as some viewers have taken to social media to share their anger at Tilly and Nikita leaving the show.

The pair left before the quarter-finals next week, but some fans think another pair should have gone home.
