Strictly Come Dancing fans are even more excited about the forthcoming series after BBC One dropped the very first trailer for the new season. The short clip has been dubbed "the best ever" by viewers who now can't wait for the competition to start.
The trailer, which stars Welsh professional dancer Amy Dowden, as well as Diane Buswell and reigning champion Giovanni Pernice, aired after The One Show on Tuesday, September 6. Fans couldn't get enough of the "stunning" trailer which was dubbed the "best ever" on social media. "Seeing the Strictly trailer on TV has me feeling all kinds of fuzzy," wrote one fan, while another added: "Stunning! The new #Strictly trailer is out."

"This is my all-time favourite Strictly trailer it's absolutely beautiful so excited," a third tweet read, as a fourth commented: "Quite possibly the best strictly trailer they’ve done in a long time!"
The Strictly Come Dancing launch show is being filmed today [Wednesday, September 7] and will air on Saturday, September 17, with the live shows kicking off a week later on Saturday, September 24.
There's an incredible line-up taking to the ballroom this year including soap stars Will Mellor and Kym Marsh, TV and radio presenter, Richie Anderson, Loose Women star Kaye Adams, comedians Jayde Adams and Ellie Taylor, five-time Paralympic champion, Ellie Simmonds, and broadcaster Tyler West.
Also taking part is singer Matt Goss, singer and actress Molly Rainford, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent when she was just 11, football legend Tony Adams, singer/songwriter Fleur East, presenter Hamza Yassin and actor James Bye. You can read more about the full Strictly 2022 line-up here.
