Strictly Come Dancing fans fume minutes into final as they hold back their tears

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming minutes into tonight's final.

The BBC One Latin and ballroom competition will end tonight, with Fleur East and her partner Vito Coppola, Helen Skelton and her dance partner Gorka Marquez, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu and Hamza Yassin and Jowita Pryztal, all vying to be crowned the champion of the show. Whoever wins will get a chance to lift the Glitterball trophy.

However, as the show kicked off tonight, fans were quick to complain and took to Twitter to air their views.

"I don’t want it to end. I still miss Rose and Gio from last year #strictly #strictlyfinal," one wrote, as a second added: "Oh Lord I’m crying already and nothing’s really happened yet! #strictly it’s going to be an emotional one."

A third shared: "already emotional over strictly coming to an end this year, and it's not even begun. what a bloody wonderful series it's been though. hamza and jowita are my winners but they're all so talented it's impossible to call!!!! #Strictly."

"Good luck tonight #Strictly can't believe it's going to be over for another year!" a fourth added.

Tonight, Fleur East and her partner Vito Coppola will dance three routines. The judges' pick will be their Samba to Hot Hot Hot by Arrow whilst their favourite dance they're performing again is their Couple's Choice to the Destiny’s Child Megamix. For their Show Dance, they will perform their routine to the track Find Me by Sigma featuring Birdy.

Helen Skelton and her dance partner Gorka Marquez will perform three routines too, with the judges choosing her Jive to Tightrope by Janelle Monáe. It's no surprise that their chosen routine is their Couple's Choice to Mein Herr by Liza Minnelli from Cabaret, whilst their final routine of the series - and their Show Dance will be set to Shine by Emeli Sandé.

Their Show Dance will be to the track Kiss/1999 by Prince as they bid to take home the Glitterball Trophy.

Hamza Yassin and Jowita Pryztal will be performing three routines, including their Salsa to Ecuador by Sash! featuring Rodriguez as picked for them by the judges. Their dance of choice will be their Couple's Choice routine to Jerusalema, the Remix by Master KG featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode and their Show Dance will be Let’s Face The Music And Dance by Irving Berlin.
