Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens tonight for the first of the Saturday live shows.
However, as you will remember, Strictly also airs on Sundays.
The Sunday show is usually seen as the elimination show, where fans say goodbye to a beloved celeb-pro pairing.
However, with no eliminations taking place during week one, fans are already asking if the show will have a Sunday episode this week.
We explain…

When is the first Strictly elimination show?
The first Strictly elimination is expected to take place on Sunday, September 29th.
This will be the second week of the show, with the celebs having each danced twice by the time the first one is booted off.
This means there is no Sunday show this week - September 22nd.
That’s because there is no elimination in the first week of the series, giving the celebs an extra week to brush up on their skills and impress the judges.
From week two however, fans will see celebs knocked out on a weekly basis.
Fans will be able to watch the Sunday shows on BBC One at 7.15pm.

Who are the Strictly 2019 pairings?

1. Dev Griffin and Dianne Buswell
2. Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden
3. James Cracknell and Luba Mushtuk
