Festival chiefs say they are proud after "making history" with two huge dance music festivals in Ayr.
STREETrave bosses are "over the moon" after their Sunday show brought the curtain down on an unforgettable weekend by the Pavilion.
An all-star line-up brought top tunes and hits, with legends including Soul II Soul, Roger Sanchez and Inner City, bringing the noise.
It followed on from a super Saturday that saw DJ Ewan McVicar headline his own festival.
Around 7,500 fans poured through the gates to witness the Kincaidston lad’s big moment.
As the dust settled and around 12,000 fans headed home, STREETrave boss Ricky Magowan toasted the festival as a huge success.
Ricky told Ayrshire Live: “It was a great weekend, we always knew it was going to be two separate festivals with different vibes.
“Saturday was always going to be for the kids and Sunday was always going to be the older community - the mums and dads.
“For a lot of them it was an emotional reunion under the Ayr Pavilion, a place that is sacred to STREETrave.
“A lot of them would have spent their teenage years there, they were given a chance to come back and relive it.
“We’ve made history, we’re proud that we’ve done it. We delivered a safe event and the town was respected.”
Ricky has heaped praise on the town for welcoming ravers with open arms as local businesses received a boost.
Ricky added: “The community welcomed us with open arms, the council were great, the police were great.
“It seemed like the whole town was ready for it. It was good to see a lot of local businesses embracing the event.
“There was a hairdressers in town that had balloons out and had someone DJ’ing, that was nice to see, it was a nice touch.
“We’re over the moon, we’re just really happy.”
Organisers hinted that STREETrave could return. A posted on their Facebook page, teased “Are we due to return?”
Ewan also suggested he'd love to back in Ayr as he told the crowd, "I hope this is the start of many."
