Stray Kids have announced a date at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2025 as part of their dominATE world tour.
Having performed to a huge crowd at the capital’s Hyde Park last summer, the K-pop boy band have set their sights on the 62,850-capacity football arena.
he gig will be among several European dates as part of the tour, which started in August in the band’s native South Korea.
Stray Kids have released three Korean albums and two Japanese since forming on a talent show in 2017.
The dominATE world tour is being held to promote the latest Japanese LP Giant, their 14th Korean EP Ate and debut 2024 mixtape Hop.
Stray Kids, often abbreviated as SKZ by their fans, have eight members: leader Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.
The ninth member, Kim Woojin, left in 2019 citing “personal circumstances” and has since started a solo career.
Stray Kids have a distinctive sound: an experimental mash-up of genres including hip-hop, rock, electronic dance music (EDM), dubstep, heavy metal and dance-pop. Traditional Korean instruments, sirens, drill sounds and even birds chirping, create their tracks.
Their lyrics, often in Korean but sometimes in English or Japanese, touch on various themes including love, identity, dealing with anxiety, accepting challenges and confidence.
The Tottenham date was announced on Monday, much to the delight of fans.
