A Derry City and Strabane District councillor has claimed he was the victim of an attempted drink spiking on Friday night.
Jason Barr said he was fortunately alerted to the presence of a tablet in his drink by his friends, on a night out in Strabane.
He posted pictures of the table on his Facebook page and said he had reported the incident to police.

Writing on Facebook on Saturday, the Sperrin DEA councillor said: "As a man who was spiked eight years ago and knows the full effects off this I’m disgusted.
"Thank god for eagle eyed friends who spotted this in the bottom of my glass.
"Anyone who feels spiking anyone as a bit of fun or for whatever simple reason is nothing but scum."
He updated his Facebook page on Monday to say that anyone who doubted the truth of what he had said was "shameful".
Mr Barr added that he had the "utmost respect" for the staff in the bar in question and that they had helped him in speaking to the police.
The PSNI said they had received the report and their enquiries were ongoing.
Inspector Michael Swanson said: “We take reports of drink spiking incredibly seriously.
“We have been working closely with bars and clubs to make them as safe as possible.
"CCTV is in operation in many venues and high streets. We want to make sure that potential perpetrators know we will be monitoring CCTV and will be robustly investigating confirmed drink spiking incidents.”
