During the recent court proceedings, Prosecutor Susan Necheles questioned Stormy Daniels about a tweet she posted in March 2022. In the tweet, Daniels boldly stated, 'I will go to jail before I pay a penny.' When asked by Necheles about the tweet, Daniels confirmed its authenticity.

Necheles pressed further, reiterating Daniels' tweet, to which Daniels responded by explaining that the tweet was a declaration of her refusal to pay for what she believed was the truth. The tweet had been posted around the time when the Court of Appeals had ruled that Daniels was required to pay legal fees to former President Donald Trump.
