During cross-examination on Thursday, Stormy Daniels was questioned by Trump lawyer Susan Necheles regarding her attempts to sell the story of her alleged affair with Trump. Necheles started by inquiring if Daniels had requested money from Trump, to which Daniels replied, 'I never asked for money from President Trump.'
Under further scrutiny from Necheles, Daniels clarified, 'I never asked for money from anyone in particular. I asked for money for telling my story... I was asking for money from publications to sell my story, to get the truth out.'
When pressed once more, Daniels explained that she prioritized her safety and ultimately decided to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
