Stormy Daniels Authorized Cancellation Of Payment Deal In 2016

Former U.S. President Trump's criminal trial over hush money payment, in New York City

The prosecutor initiated the questioning by directing a query towards Stormy Daniels regarding the delays in the payment promised by Michael Cohen in 2016. During the trial, Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger requested Stormy Daniels to review an email sent by her then-attorney Keith Davidson to Michael Cohen on October 17, 2016.

The email explicitly stated a demand for payment by 5 p.m. PST on the same day. This email had been previously presented to the jurors during Davidson's testimony. Stormy Daniels confirmed that she had given authorization to Davidson to terminate the agreement due to the non-receipt of the funds.
