Severe thunderstorms are lashing Sydney and parts of Central NSW causing flash flooding, large hailstones and damaging winds.
The Bureau of Meteorology says locations affected include Sydney, Coonamble, Nyngan, Woy Woy, Narromine and Gilgandra.
Torrential rain and gusty winds lashed parts of Sydney on Tuesday evening amid thunder and lightning, while roads were reported to be waterlogged in Orange as a storm hit the city, knocking power out for some residents.
The State Emergency Service issued warning for residents to stay undercover, park cars away from trees, secure loose items around their homes and to not drive into floodwaters.
