Jeremy Vine presenter Storm Huntley and her husband Kerr Okan revealed the exciting news that the couple are expecting their first child.
The happy couple posted their own quirky pregnancy announcement photo of herself and Kerr peering into an oven, where a bun could be seen being cooked.
Storm, 35, discussed her announcement on the Channel 5 show today with the rest of her co-hosts, but the Glasgow presenter didn't sugar coat the early struggles of pregnancy.
During Monday’s episode of Jeremy’s Channel 5 programme, Storm confirmed she is indeed set to become a mum.
"We’ve definitely baked up something, it’s not a loaf, unfortunately that one was bought. But yes, I’m having a baby!’ she shared.
She then stepped out from behind the desk to give the cameras a glimpse of her growing baby bump.
Storm treated her co-hosts to a look at her 10-week baby scan and explained that she booked a private scan as her "anxiety needed it", adding that she’s convinced the baby was waving.
However, the presenter refused to sugar coat the early days of pregnancy as she admitted: "I’m not going to lie, the first trimester? Horrific.
"They don’t tell you that enough. When you think of pregnancy, you think of shiny hair and clear skin and it’s going to be a wonderful lovely experience.
"It is traumatic to say the least.
"It was two months solid of travel sickness. You know when you’re in the car or on a boat and you have that feeling of “I don’t know what way’s up, what way’s down, I may throw up at any moment” – 24 hours of that, every moment.’
She continued: "It goes through waves, when I was feeling ill I had a lot of anxiety about it.
"The second trimester we’re in the honeymoon phase of the pregnancy and I’m feeling quite good about it, I’m excited about it, I want to know if it’s a boy or a girl.
"I can’t wait till my 20 week scan so I can see its little face again.’
Storm and her LaFontaine's husband Kerr tied the knot last year after getting engaged in 2020 and decided to tell their friends and fans about their lovely news via a cute social media post.
Her husband Kerr sent a video message into Jeremy Vine where he said: "Absolutely delighted to be a first time dad to be, all going well, I’m buzzing… I just can’t wait to start a family with her.
"If she’s anything like she is as a wife, she’ll be a phenomenal mother."
The baby news is the latest exciting post from the pair, who once said they were going to hold their wedding in McDonalds when they couldn't arrange one due to Covid restrictions.
