Forecasters are warning another storm is set to hit the UK on Sunday and a yellow weather warning for wind has been issued by the MET Office for Nottingham.
The weather warning has been issued to start from 12midday on Sunday, February 20, and will remain in place until 1pm on Monday, February 21.
In a statement, the MET Office has urged caution, and warned the weather could bring potential damage to buildings, tress and travel disruption
It comes after Storm Eunice brought widespread disruption across Nottinghamshire on Friday, February 18, with reports of trees down across the wider area and travel disruption.
The forecast on Sunday is more severe for some other parts of the UK.
There's an amber weather warning for wind brought by Storm Franklin across Northern Ireland.
Met Office meteorologists said in a tweet: “The Met Office has named #StormFranklin.
“The storm is forecast to bring strong winds and heavy rain to the UK on Sunday and Monday.
“The strongest winds will be in Northern Ireland where an Amber weather warning has been issued. Stay #WeatherAware.”
The latest storm warning comes just two days after homes, transport links and power lines were affected by Storm Eunice, with thousands of people still without power.
