Storm Franklin caused havoc on the west coast overnight - with RTE News reporter Teresa Mannion tweeting pictures of some major damage in Mayo.
Teresa is no stranger to storms and hazardous weather, with her reporting of Storm Desmond back in 2015 going viral as she urged people "don't make unnecessary journeys", all while rain and wind nearly blew her off a Galway pier.
While Franklin wasn't as bad as that, it still caused issues for thousands, with power outages, trees blocking roads and treacherous driving conditions.
Teresa tweeted: "A number of cars were damaged by falling branches in Breaffy outside Castlebar. Nobody was injured."
She followed it up with: "Storm damage in Mayo. Fallen branches damage cars in Breaffy. Steel container blows over and demolishes 40 year block wall in Dooagh, Achill Island. All calm today."
A nationwide Status Yellow wind weather warning ended at 9am but remains in place until 12noon for Wexford and Wicklow.
Met Eireann says: "These winds combined with very high seas will lead to wave overtopping along Atlantic coasts, which may result in coastal flooding."
Meanwhile, a Status Orange wind alert for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo ended at 7am.
The outlook for the week predicts that the weather will remain unsettled with windy and wet conditions at times, with snow also possible.
