Storm Eunice wreaks havoc as dashcam footage shows blizzard conditions on Scots roads

Dashcam footage has revealed the blizzard conditions on one Scots road as Storm Eunice wreaks havoc across the country.

The Met Office issued a wind and snow warning in central and southern Scotland on Friday as the second storm of the week rolled in.

Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has issued 14 flood alerts as parts of the country are being battered with heavy rain showers.

Elsewhere, regions of Scotland are experiencing blizzard conditions as snow causes problems on the country's transport network.

"Storm Eunice may cause disruption due to heavy snow and some strong winds on Friday," reads the Met Office's weather warning.

The blizzard conditions on the A82 (Conor Small)

Hair-raising dashcam footage has shown the conditions Scots drivers are having to navigate in parts of the country on Friday.

Conor Small shared a clip of the weather in the Scottish Highlands on the A82 in Glencoe.

The footage shows whiteout conditions in the area where a yellow weather warning for ice is in place from 6pm Friday until 9am on Saturday.

Cops shut down the A82 south of Glencoe at around 10:30am this morning but the route has since reopened.

Elsewhere, snow ploughs have been out clearing sections of the M80 with numerous delays and accidents across Scotland's roads today.
