Northern Ireland is set to be hit by a second storm in a week.
A yellow warning for wind and snow comes into force from 3am on Friday, February 18 until 6pm as a second storm is due to hit the UK.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Storm Eunice may cause disruption due to heavy snow and some strong winds on Friday."
Some bright or sunny spells and occasional showers are expected on Thursday, these mainly at first and again for a time in the afternoon.
The forecaster added: "Showers wintry at times. Cold. Maximum temperature 6C."
It's set to become dry in the evening with a frost.
The Met Office said: "Widespread sleet and snow will spread northeast in the early hours, although rain likely along some coastal areas. Minimum temperature 0C."
Widespread sleet and snow are expected on Friday morning which will "clear away eastwards to leave a brighter afternoon with wintry showers".
Strong to gale northerly winds are predicted with upland blizzards in the morning, with a maximum temperature of 4C.
