Two men seen lifting grates at a city centre tram stop as tram staff issued a warning for them to stop On Tuesday, April 18, the two individuals were seen lifting the grates in front of a ticket machine at the Nottingham Train Station tram stop at around 11:20am.
Their actions prevented some tram users from being able to use the ticket machine.
An announcement on the tannoy addressed the men, stating: "To the men unscrewing the grate, you're being filmed. Please stop, you're stopping people from buying tickets."
A spokesperson for NET Tram has confirmed that no damage has been caused and no complaints have been received regarding the incident.
It is not clear why they were doing it but one eyewitness said they were in the way of people buying tickets.
