On Monday, Interface reached an important technical milestone, seeing its Relative Strength (RS) Rating jump into the 90-plus percentile with an improvement to 96, up from 88 the day before.

Over 100 years of market history reveals that the best stocks typically have an RS Rating of above 80 as they begin their largest runs.

How To Use Stock Charts To Stay Profitable And Protected

Interface has risen more than 5% past an 18.47 entry in a third-stage consolidation, meaning it's now out of a proper buy range. Look for the stock to create a new buying opportunity like a three-weeks tight or pullback to the 50-day or 10-week moving average.

Earnings grew 71% last quarter, up from 60% in the prior report. Revenue also increased, from 5% to 11%.

The company holds the No. 2 rank among its peers in the Building-Construction Products/Miscellaneous industry group. Armstrong Wrld Ind is the top-ranked stock within the group.
