Stirling Albion boss Darren Young believes Binos can make the play-offs – if they treat every league game like a cup tie.
Young’s men sit nine points behind fourth-place Edinburgh City with 12 games left.
But the Binos boss insists the play-offs are still an achievable target.
And he is looking for a morale boosting win at Elgin tomorrow.
Young said: “There are 36 points to play for and our goal is to make the play-offs.
“First and foremost, we need to try to catch the team above us and take it from there.
“If we can get a good run there’s no reason why we can’t be back up there challenging.
“We go into every game trying to win it – we’ve maybe lacked a bit of confidence in the final third and it would make a big difference if we could get that first goal.

“If you go behind it allows teams to go 4-5-1 and it can be hard to break them down so we need to take responsibility.”
Binos make the long trip north to Borough Briggs having won 2-0 on their last visit in October with goals from Martin McNiff and Dale Carrick.
But since then they’ve picked up just one win in 15 cinch League 2 fixtures.
Elgin beat leaders Kelty Hearts 2-0 at the end of January and Gavin Price was named Manager of the Month but City have slumped to five straight defeats and are ninth in the table.
Stirling are in seventh spot, two points ahead of their hosts and with two games in hand – at home to Cowdenbeath on Tuesday, March 8 and Albion Rovers a fortnight later.
And Young believes Binos can put a run together to put pressure on promotion rivals.
He said: “We have got into good areas in a lot of the games but sometimes the final ball hasn’t been right but the goal we scored against Forfar last week was brilliant.
“We’ve not had the rub of the green and decisions have gone against so hopefully these things begin to even themselves out.
“It was good for Dale Carrick to score against Forfar and he deserved it. He was in the right place at the right time and sometimes that is half the battle.”
Skipper Ross McGeachie could return for the Elgin trip but fellow defender Adam Cummins is facing several weeks out with a calf injury and Paul McLean is a long-term absentee.
