Stirling Albion boss Darren Young would be willing to make additions to his squad in the January transfer window in his side’s bid to win promotion from League 2.
The Binos gaffer has been left delighted with his outfit’s return from their opening 16 league matches.
The Forthbank side currently sit on 30 points after 16 games and sit in second place in the table, four points behind league leaders Dumbarton.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the campaign, Young says that he is open to adding to his squad.
Boss Young said: “If there’s a chance to strengthen then you’re always interested in that. But it’d have to make sense for the club and if the finances worked out.
“There’s always the chance that someone from the Championship, for example, becomes available for a loan, but we just have to wait and see.
“It’d always be ideal to be able to add two or three new players to get us to the end of the season, but we just have to see how things play out.”
Young has been happy with the number of goals being shared around his team, taking pressure off the attacking stars.

Young’s free-scoring side had a rare free weekend following a heavy fixture schedule and he’s hoping the mini break will give his side a boost heading into Saturday’s home fixture with Forfar.
He added that his side used the opportunity to “recharge the batteries a wee bit”.
The players were given the day off, but they took part in a bounce game in training to keep themselves ticking over.
Young is hoping that the cold snap does not impact on the Binos’ fixture schedule and give them a backlog.
Plummeting temperatures could see fixtures wiped out this weekend when the Binos host Forfar Athletic.
The Binos now face six league fixtures between now and the end of January, with a trip to Elgin City on December 23 and they play host to Stenhousemuir on Hogmanay.
The Binos ran out 4-1 winners over the visitors back in September thanks to goals from Paul McLean, Cammy Clark, Dale Carrick and Kai Fotheringham.
