Still Game legend Greg Hemphill is set to team up with his partner Julie Wilson Nimmo, famous for her role in Balamory, for a brand new show all about wild swimming.
The show, which will air on the BBC on New Years Day, will see the Scottish actors take part in a deep dip into the world of wild swimming, rocking up at some of Scotland’s wildest open-water lochs, rivers and bays in their quirky campervan.
They will lift the misty veil on Scotland’s unpolished expanses of water and meet some inspirational people along the way.

Chatting to The Sunday Post last year, Wilson Nimmo said: “I’m absolutely addicted to it – it’s a magical feeling. I’m a woman of a certain age now, hot flushes and all that, but I go in and just forget about everything. Sometimes it’s only five minutes, sometimes longer, but it’s always worth it. I love it and want to do it forever.”
“My favourite part is coming out – you’re getting changed outside but you don’t care, and it’s the best cup of tea out of your flask afterwards.”
It comes after the pair teamed up for their first children’s television show together, playing the role of Mr and Mrs Sawdust, Mum and Dad to Karen, in ‘Olga Da Polga’ which is currently airing on CBeebies, based on Paddington creator Michael Bond’s hugely successful children’s books.
‘Jules’ and Greg’s Wild Swim’ will air on BBC Scotland at 10.30pm on New Years Day and also on BBC iPlayer.
