'Still can't get over it' - Liverpool fans spot new look for Mohamed Salah during RB Leipzig friendly

Mohamed Salah has got Liverpool supporters talking after his new hair transformation.

Salah signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool back in July following months of uncertainty around his future. The Egyptian's deal had been set to expire in the summer of 2023, however, he has now agreed fresh three-year terms to commit his future to the club until 2025.

The ECHO understands that the 30-year-old will indeed earn less than £400k a week, with his new deal heavily incentivised so he could earn more based on player performance. Salah has scored 156 goals in 254 appearances since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in the summer of 2017.

And ahead of the upcoming campaign, the forward has opted for a new look which plenty of fans saw for the first time this evening while watching the game.

The former Chelsea man appears to have added some blonde highlights to his hair, with Liverpool supporters quick to comment on the style of Twitter.

Speaking on his new deal, Salah said: “I feel great and [I am] excited to win trophies with the club. It’s a happy day for everyone.

“It takes a little bit of time, I think, to renew, but now everything is done so we just need to focus on what’s next.

“I think you can see in the last five or six years the team was always going [upwards]. Last season we were close to winning four, but unfortunately in the last week of the season we lost two trophies."
