Stewarty Sharks ended the season with a splash.
Sunday marked the end of the Sharks’ campaign and the players and their parents gathered at Greenlaw for one last fun filled training sessions.
That included a quick P6 and P7 match against the dads, with the Sharks swimming laps around the dads who would no doubt have been feeling it the next day.
The Micros’ coaches John Dawson and Iain McMorran awarded micros most improved player to Isaac Esquierdo and Finlay Cooper. Micros coaches’ player was another joint award for Archie Hall and Sam Findlay. Archie Hall is on a winning streak and was voted players’ player by his team mates.
The P4/5 awards were also hard fought with coach, Ralph Spernagel making a joint award to Aiden Edgar and Arthur Sanderson for P4/5 most improved player. Euan McCracken was awarded coaches’ player. It was another double in this age group with Aiden Edgar voted players’ player by his team.
The P6/7 coaches Matthew McCubbin and Frank Devaney awarded the most improved player to Ramsay Wilson. The coaches’ player award went to one of the top tacklers of the group Elizabeth Spernagel, while Ben Williamson was voted players’ player by his team mates.
