Steven Gerrard is the early favourite to be appointed as the next Rangers manager, according to BetVictor.
The bookies have made the Liverpool legend the frontrunner before official confirmation of Philippe Clement's exit has even been released.
Gerrard lifted the Scottish Premiership title with Rangers during his first reign in Glasgow between 2018 and 2021.
The 44-year-old left Rangers to take over as Aston Villa manager after a successful period at Ibrox.
However, Gerrard would spend less than a year in charge at Villa Park as he was dismissed 12 games into the 2022/23 Premier League season after recording just two wins.

After a period working as a pundit, Gerrard returned to the dugout at Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq.
Gerrard completed a lucrative move to the Middle East where he would remain until January 2025.
The former Ibrox boss had a contract until 2027 - after renewing his deal in January 2024 - but left his role by mutual consent last month.
Gerrard has not been in the dugout since his departure from Al-Ettifaq but was touted for the Carlisle United post earlier this month. Mark Hughes has been appointed to the post.
The former Rangers manager does have his own academy to keep him busy while not in the dugout himself. The academy holds courses across England, Northern Ireland and Spain.
