Liverpool football legend Steven Gerrard has been in the company of the father of Kinahan gang boss Liam Byrne during his time in Dublin, we can reveal.
Gerrard, who over the past few days was photographed hanging out with Kinahan cartel foot soldier Nathan ‘Biggie’ Little, has also spent time with veteran criminal James ‘Jaws’ Byrne. Sources have revealed how Gerrard has spent time with convicted fraudster Jaws and his family over recent days, after the former Rangers manager jetted into Dublin and made a visit to UFC star Conor McGregor’s pub — The Black Forge Inn.
Jaws is the grandfather of Liam Byrne’s son Lee (21), the boyfriend of Gerrard’s daughter Lily-Ella (18), and was named in High Court proceedings taken by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

Following a raid by CAB in 2017, Jaws later applied to the High Court seeking the return of a Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch worth €35,000. His wife Sadie Byrne, of Raleigh Square, Crumlin, who is the mother of murdered Kinahan mobster David Byrne, also rejected CAB’s claim that an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch that belonged to her late son worth an estimated €12,500 and a Lexus Jeep were the proceeds of crime.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, Gerrard was controversially pictured with Nathan ‘Biggie’ Little, captioning it: “All day lad”.
In the High Court, CAB has identified the 24-year-old Dubliner as being a low-level member of the Byrne Organised Crime Group. Little, who is from the Drimnagh area of the city, is a close friend of Liam Byrne’s son Lee.
Gerrard has also been seen in the company of Jaws’ son Liam Byrne — who was named in the High Court as the leader of the Organised Crime Gang that bears his name.
Liam Byrne is also considered to be the number two to mob boss Daniel Kinahan, and is said to run the UK branch of the cartel.
Lilly-Ella, Gerrard and Lee Byrne do not have any involvement in organised crime.
The pictures come after a video appeared on social media last year of the former Aston Villa manager with Lee’s gangster father. In the video the former Liverpool captain is seen inviting the man to watch a match as Byrne is seen joking with the fan.
Towards the end of the video, Byrne offers to set up a dinner between the fan and Gerrard in his home.
“You pick a date you want and I’ll get the lads in Dublin to bring you over, come around my house and Stevie is going to come around and have some dinner with you,” Byrne said.
Meanwhile, Liam Byrne — who fled Ireland when CAB took away his €2 million criminal empire — seems not to have a care in the world as he has been spotted rubbing shoulders with prominent sporting figures recently.
His brazen actions mirror almost exactly what mob boss Daniel Kinahan has been doing for years.
