Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has revealed the brilliant Reds mural in his son's room in his Christmas message on social media.
Gerrard was an icon during his time as a player at Anfield, where he made 710 appearances and scored 186 goals. He left Liverpool in 2015 after spending almost the entirety of his playing career on Merseyside.
The 42-year-old has recently taken the step into management, but is currently out of work. After leaving Rangers in November last year to take the job at Aston Villa, he was dismissed in October after less than a year in the Premier League.

Now Gerrard is enjoying his free time, and his latest post on Instagram shows he’s spending a great deal of it with his family. In a post, Gerrard is posing with his son Lio in what appears to be his bedroom, which has been decorated with a Liverpool theme, and accompanied by the caption: “Merry Christmas.”
On the wall in the background, a mural can be seen which features Liverpool trio Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold. On the bed there is also a pillow which features the name and shirt number of Alexander-Arnold.
Gerrard’s post was liked by many people connected with Liverpool, including former Reds Yossi Benayoun, Luis Garcia and Jamie Redknapp. Current Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson also liked the post, while ex-midfielder Lucas Leiva commented with several heart eyes emojis.
