Gerrard will take to the field alongside a host of former team-mates to face a Barca side that will be led at Anfield by Rivaldo.
Jamie Carragher also starts for the Reds, who will be managed by Sir Kenny Dalglish. However, it remains to be seen what formation the side will be playing.
