Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is being linked with a sensational return to management with Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Reds captain is currently out of work after being sacked by Aston Villa in October. The 42-year-old had spent 11 months in charge of the Premier League club, before being dismissed and replaced by Unai Emery.
Gerrard has previously spent more than three years in charge of Rangers. During his time in Scotland, the Liverpool icon won the league title for the Glasgow club in 2021, ending Celtic’s run of nine consecutive top flight triumphs.

Now, according to a report in the Scottish Daily Express, Gerrard could be back in management fairly soon.
The report states that PSG are “interested” in making Gerrard their next manager. Current boss Christophe Galtier is said to be under pressure at the French club, and could be dismissed in the near future.
As a result, rumours have circulated on potential replacements for Galtier, even though he is still in charge of PSG. The report from Scotland claims that Gerrard has been discussed among the hierarchy of the Paris club, after being “increasingly frustrated” with Galtier.
