Jermaine Jenas has likened Jude Bellingham to Steven Gerrard as the Borussia Dortmund star continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool.
As reported by the ECHO back in July, the midfielder is someone who is widely admired among the people who matter where recruitment is concerned at Liverpool. However, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid have also reportedly shown an interest in signing the Dortmund star.
Bellingham stole the show as England kicked-off their World Campaign with a 6-2 win over Iran on Monday afternoon. Arsenal star Bukayo Saka scored twice as the Three Lions strolled to victory at the Khalifa International Stadium.

The Dortmund man and Raheem Sterling were also on target as were substitutes Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish. And speaking after the game, Jenas was quick to praise the former Birmingham City youngster.
He said: "Bellingham is a throwback, he can really do it all. He is like Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard rolled into one. It's a real bonus for Gareth Southgate to get him now in the form that he is in."
While fellow BBC sport pundit Alan Shearer said: "It was a complete performance from a really exciting player - it had everything, he put in the tackles, the work-rate, his passing was superb, he got his goal, it really was a special day for him."
