Steve Irwin's Family Honors His Legacy On His Birthday

Terri Irwin shared a video of Steve's memorable moments in the wild.

Steve Irwin’s family recently honored his memory on what would have been his 62nd birthday. Terri Irwin, his wife, shared a video on Instagram featuring some of the late Crocodile Hunter’s most memorable moments in the wild, with his voice Autotuned into a song by Melodysheep.

The couple had two children together before Steve's passing in September 2006. Their daughter, Bindi Irwin, posted a heartfelt Instagram carousel, including images of her and her father, as well as family moments. She expressed that Steve's legacy will endure forever.

Robert Irwin, their son, also paid tribute to his father on his birthday. In a video, he shared childhood memories of riding with his dad on his 'Honda 100' around Australia Zoo, where Steve checked on the animals. Robert mentioned that he has now taken on the responsibility of continuing his father's routine.

The emotional posts from the Irwin family resonated with followers, with many expressing admiration for how the children are upholding Steve's legacy. The Australia Zoo, which the family operates together, stands as a testament to Steve's passion for wildlife conservation.

Steve Irwin, born on February 22, 1962, tragically passed away at the age of 44 in 2006 due to a stingray incident while snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. Despite his untimely death, his impact on wildlife education and environmentalism lives on through his family and the work they continue to do.
