Nottingham Forest will be getting an in-form midfielder when Gustavo Scarpa arrives in January.
The 28-year-old Palmeiras star has secured a pre-contract agreement with Forest, which will see him move over in January once the Brazilian season concludes.
It will be his first taste of the English game having only played in Brazil to date, but his recent record suggests he could be a player who takes the Premier League by storm. With the number of Forest signings over the summer, news of his impending arrival went under the radar somewhat.

He has scored four goals and made seven assists in 24 Serie A matches so far this year for Palmeiras, while scoring the same amount and setting up a further two in eight Copa Libertadores ties.
His record in the top flight of Brazilian football is an impressive one. The midfielder is highly regarded in Brazil for his work rate and loyalty to see out his contract with his current club.
It is his hobbies off the pitch that have also brought further notoriety for him in 2022. Interestingly, Scarpa is fascinated with Rubik's cubes - so much so, there are custom ones sold in the Palmeiras club shop. He is also said to be interested in reading classic 20th century novels, skateboarding and wakeboarding.
