Steve Cooper sent Nottingham Forest question ahead of Bournemouth clash

Nottingham Forest supporters have questioned the line-up Steve Cooper has selected for today's Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth.

The Reds boss made two changes from the side that were on the end of a 6-0 defeat against Manchester City. Lewis O'Brien and Remo Freuler both dropped to the bench, with Jesse Lingard and Steve Cook replacing them.

Cheikhou Kouyate will push into midfield to let Cook play in Cooper's defence, with Lingard replacing O'Brien in attack - joining Brennan Johnson and Morgan Gibbs-White.

Forest welcome managerless Bournemouth to the City Ground at 3pm today, looking to win for the second time of the season. Victory could lift them up to 9th in the Premier League table.

Following the changes from Cooper, Forest fans have been reacting to team news on social media. Here's what they have said...

@NFFC_U_REDS: For the first time in a long time I think Cooper has got it wrong. What has he seen in Kouyate that merits a start ahead of LOB and Freuler in midfield? Then again, Cooper is the boss and rarely gets it wrong, so let's see.

@TuftyNFFC: Why drop O'Brien, I'll never know

@SagaciousFellow: Why are we playing like this against Bournemouth? Inviting them to attack and have a chance...

@Stevie_FPL1: Not impressed Kouyate is starting ahead of the more dynamic players

@sjwt1971: Thought we needed a win!!! This is a shocking line-up!! Must win game and this is what we go with....

@WillTooley: Happy to be proven wrong but this Lingard/MGW/Johnson front 3 needs to stop. Literally the same player. Awoniyi needs to be in there

@Islander151: Why pick such a defensive team, no striker when we missed that outlet last weekend & Kouyate is a proper holding midfield! He’s been poor this past week. We have to win and it looks more like a team hoping to draw. Can’t understand this when cooper is normally positive.
