Steve Cooper says his Nottingham Forest side are going to approach the Carabao Cup second-round tie against Grimsby Town with a winning mentality.
The Reds will make the trip to Lincolnshire tonight (7.45pm) to face the League Two side as they begin their cup run. The hosts defeated Crewe Alexandra 4-0 earlier this month to book a place in the next round of the competition.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Cooper told Forest TV: "It’s a game we’re looking forward to and we approach it with the mentality to win. We want a winning culture here and to do that you have to live and breathe it every day.

"Cup competitions are games we look forward to and we take very seriously. We’re mindful that we have three games in a week and not too many days between each game, but our mentality will be right.
"We have a good motivation at the moment and a real drive and hunger to make sure every day is a productive one and I’ve been liking the look of us in training. What we’ve got to make sure is that we take what we feel is being done right into games and that should give us the best opportunity to play well and win."
Speaking about the opposition, the Welsh boss added: "Grimsby recently got promoted so they’re used to winning and it’s a classic early-season cup tie. They’ll be hungry to play as well as us and we look forward to going there with an attitude to play the game in our way, in our identity and to do whatever it takes to win the game."
