Nottingham Forest have appointed Swansea City's Dan Morris as Head of Data Insights, reuniting him with Steve Cooper at the City Ground.
He has moved to the Reds after five years with Championship club, where he worked under Cooper during his two years in Wales. He joins fellow former Swansea staff member Stephen Rands, who left the Swans in 2021 to join Forest.
Morris was data scientist at the Liberty Stadium and will join Cooper's backroom staff after confirming his exit on LinkedIn. He said: "After an incredible five years at Swansea City, I'm happy to share that I have recently started a new position as Head of Data Insights at Nottingham Forest. Exciting times ahead.

"Thanks to everyone who supported me and I had the pleasure of working alongside during my time at Swansea. Never easy leaving the club you love, but the time was right for a new challenge."
He will join Tom Corden (Lead Performance Analyst), Gabriel Stephenson (Performance analyst) and Axl Rice (Analyst) working at the City Ground.
Morris' arrival isn’t the only arrival with previous working with Cooper. Morgan Gibbs-White signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a club-record fee of £25m plus add-ons.
