Steve Cooper point made after Nottingham Forest suffer Leeds misery

Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 at Leeds United on Tuesday as their away day misery continued.

Forest had taken the lead after Orel Mangala's goal in the 12th minute but the hosts responded with goals from Jack Harrison and Luis Sinisterra in the first half.

The result leaves the Reds 17th in the Premier League table and only outside of the bottom three on goal difference. Forest have only won once away in the league this season with a 1-0 win at Southampton in January their only win on the road.

Tuesday's result adds growing pressure on Forest boss Steve Cooper, despite the Welshman guiding the Reds back to the Premier League last season for the first time in over 20 years.

Here's what Reds fans had to say about the result...

Lewis Morris: Realistically we’re relegated so keep Cooper for the champ let him try get us back up!

Jax: Start planning for Championship. We need to keep Cooper but bin so much of this squad. Some will have to go to pay the bills, but some won't have the fight in them that the Championship require.

Rhys Bull: I hate to say it. Cooper will be gone!!

Red Veteran: On reflection: a new squad which I believe Cooper didn’t completely pick himself. Unlucky all season with injuries. Never really had a chance to play a regular settled XI. We’ve been out of the bottom 3 for a while and only losing by the odd goal. Got more than 11 points.

Louis Wheeldon: Very, very worried for Steve Cooper after this one.

Kylo: Forest till I die, love Steve Cooper and love my club.

Foxy: Forest and Southampton already down. And very much deserved. Not good enough all season. Must keep Cooper to come straight back up mind.

1992 Forest: Sadly that’s Coopers last game.

Stan Harper: Heads gone. Faiths gone. Coopers gone. Premier League Reds Gone.

Cal: We can definitely say goodbye to Steve Cooper now.
