Defender Jonathan Panzo is continuing to build up his fitness, following his deadline day arrival at Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old has yet to be included in a matchday squad for the Reds after putting pen to paper just before the January transfer window closed.
He was involved in a behind-closed-doors practice game against Norwich City at the City Ground last week, and started for the Under-23s when they faced Reading on Monday night.
Having made 22 appearances for French club Dijon in Ligue 1 prior to his move Trentside, Forest head coach Steve Cooper says the youngster needs more minutes under his belt before he can be in first-team contention.
“He’s doing good. We’re happy with him,” the Welshman said of Panzo, who signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Reds.
“He’s come in having not played a lot of minutes or had a lot of games, and even really a proper training programme.
“There’s no rush with him, that’s for sure.
“He played in that game last week against Norwich, which I think was really good for him. It allowed him to do some good things, do some indifferent things, which a few of them did.
“He is just needing to get a body of minutes into him, to be ready if called upon - the same as the other boys.
“His programme is slightly different at the moment, because he’s definitely playing catch-up physically.
“It’s one of them where it’s just a bit of a settling-in period. We’re enjoying working with him.”
