Pundit Tony Cascarino has questioned if Chelsea manager Graham Potter will handle an influx of players at his club as well as Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has this season.
Chelsea have not been shy to splash the cash in both transfer windows under new owner Todd Boehly. A spend of over £400 million in the summer has not led to the results that the American would have hoped for.
Thomas Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter back in September, but the former Brighton boss is already under pressure after a run of just two wins since the return of the Premier League after the World Cup break.

With Chelsea in 10th place in the Premier League, the club are turning to the transfer window again. The signing of Noni Madueke from PSV Eindhoven for £30 million takes the Blues’ spending so far this window to around £190 million, with six players coming in so far this month.
The host of new arrivals come after questions were asked over Forest’s summer transfer business . The Reds spent around £150 million on 23 new players.
Cascarino has praised Cooper’s management of the influx of players, with Forest currently four points off the relegation zone. The pundit has questioned if Potter will be able to do a similar job with lots of new arrivals.
“I just think it’s crazy,” he told TalkSPORT. “I’d never imagined a club would go so hard, so quickly, and I get what they’re doing - they’re trying to buy the best talent of a certain age around in Europe.
“I said at the start of the season, Steve Cooper at Forest, I can’t believe he’s got 20 odd players to deal with and yet he’s managed it brilliantly. Can Graham Potter manage it as well as Steve Cooper?
“It feels like he doesn’t embrace it. If he said ‘they’re great young players, my job is to coach them, make them the best they can be and I have every confidence that I’ll make these players shine for Chelsea.’ That’s what your job is - to make these young players better than they already are and find a pathway into your team and excel.
