Ian 'H' Watkins has confused and upset many of his fans as they found themselves 'blocked' by him on Twitter.
The Steps star seems to have gone on a post-Christmas cull of those who could see what he was up to on Twitter, as many fans reported being randomly blocked. Some of those now unable to see his posts claimed that they had never even interacted with his account.
Fans were fuming but confused as they realised and his name began to trend on Twitter with the hashtag '#BlockedByHFromSteps'. One user said: "I don’t know why I’ve been blocked by H from Steps. To my knowledge I’ve never interacted with Ian H Watkins here. BTW I love Steps."

Another added: "So I’ve been caught in the mass blocking by “H” from Steps. I really don’t think I’ve ever had any interaction with him, but I’ve been blocked anyways." Meanwhile, a third said: "I’ve been blocked by H from steps and so has my wife."
'H' responded to some of the baffled tweets as he apologised for any offense caused. He replied to one of the many Tweets on Boxing Day as he said: "Hi James.. I recently signed up for a clean up of ‘bots’ & ‘phobes’ … apologies if the blocking offended.. I didn’t do this manually! Merry Christmas."
Just days before, on Christmas Eve, the singer had written: "You have no power here.. be gone! Who knew there was a ‘bot blocker’ ?? Love it!! #botblocker."
But since being inundated with messages about people being blocked, the star has seen the funny side of it all. He went on to share an Oprah Winfrey meme of her pointing at her audience as it was captioned: "You get a block. And you get a block. Everybody get's a block." At the top, the text read: "H from Steps be like..."
