Stephen Robinson admits it will be "strange" for St Mirren to have to plan for an international break with so many players away representing their country.
The Buddies go into the weekend off having toppled Celtic in their last Premiership game, a sweet way to draw the first batch of league matches to a close.
Now Robinson is working out how to best keep his remaining players ticking over, with several away on their travels to represent their country.
Keanu Baccus and Ryan Strain are hoping to make their debuts for Australia against New Zealand later this week, with Saints striker Alex Greive also hoping to be involved in those clashes for the All Whites.
Alex Gogic is hoping to add to his caps for Cyprus in the Nations League, while Dylan Reid is hoping to earn his first Scotland under-18 cap having skippered the under-17s in the past.
Goalkeeper Trevor Carson was hoping to be involved for Northern Ireland, but he was withdrawn from their squad after a late change.
Robinson said: “Going into the international break, the players will have a few days off and for St Mirren it’s strange, we’ve got eight or nine boys away on international duty. I don’t think that’s ever happened before.
“That reduces the training to about three people!
“We’ll give them a few days off, let them re-set their batteries and enjoy the result.
“Football doesn’t give you too many good moments when you’re managing clubs like ourselves, the smaller clubs.
“So we’ll enjoy the Celtic result. Then there will be full concentration again for the next game.”
