Randers sporting director Soren Pedersen claims there are no offers on the table so far for Stephen Odey.
However, he admits a deal could move fast with Rangers showing an interest.
Outlet All Nigeria Soccer claim preliminary discussions have been held with sporting director Ross Wilson, and that Odey is seriously being considered as a potential transfer option this summer.
He scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 32 appearances in all competitions and the report also claims Celtic have made contact over his potential availability.
When asked about interest from Rangers, Pedersen told Bold : "At least they are not so concrete, so I don’t have an offer on the table from there.
"It can happen easily. There are many clubs that have shown interest in him because he is a good player, but there is nothing concrete from there."
The Danish outlet also asked about interest from Celtic, but notes the Parkhead side have not enquired about the price of the player.
The interest from Rangers is said to be firmer with Gio van Bronckhorst identifying Odey as one of the attacking targets in the event Alfredo Morelos departs Ibrox.
The Colombian international's contract is set to expire next summer and he continues to be linked with a move.
